As you can see, I don't have much time to blog these days. I wish I had an extra couple of hours a week to catch up on all my favorite blogs and to write a post of my own now & then. But I am a busy bee, so that is the price I pay I suppose.
I went to Bellingham a few weeks back and had such a nice time relaxing with my brother & sister. It's funny how the older we get, the closer we get. I truly love my siblings and can't wait to grow old with them! We ate lots of delicious food, watched funny tv, and did a little shopping downtown.
We have also have a lot going on in Portland. The boyfriend is still kicking ass in his pool league, I am busy as ever with work and school, and little B is cuddly and sweet as ever. I've had a run of feeling sick/overwhelmed this past week which has really put a damper on my days. Our next door neighbor is also having some serious mental issues which have resulted in us having to call the police on the regular, which isn't fun for anyone. Let me give you a typical day in my shoes so you can feel my pain. Haha.
Wake up at 6am, get ready by 7 so I can be at school by 8.
Class is out at 10:50, eat lunch in the car so I can be at work by 12.
Work gets out at 5, eat dinner in the car so I can get to night class by 6.
Out of class at 8:50, get home by 9:15.
Try to relax all while usually dealing with the daily happenings of our schizophrenic neighbor.
Work on homework until about midnight, sometimes until 2am.
Start over.
Can you see why I am a grump? Do you feel me on the regular visits to my coffee stand?
As rough as it is, I sat back and kind of laughed at myself the other day after I also lost my wallet and broke our french press. Go figure. All of this bullshit has to be part of life's little lessons, right? I mean, how naïve can I be to think that this only happens to me. Does everyone else have some crazy neighbor story, too? No sleep, uncomfortable living situations, and drinking coffee like it was an IV drip is all part of your twenties, right? Please say yes.
Anyway, we're on the prowl for a new pad to call home and some time to call our own. Spring Break, I am soooo looking forward to you!
Here's some film from Bellingham for your viewing pleasure. Loving any time I can get with my Minolta!
xoxo.
