As you can see, I sent some off to my loved ones who are great models. I'm particularly fond of the purple/yellow combo I made for Hiatt. Going to have to recreate that one for myself.
Hope your week is less stressful than mine! We have a lot going on this week + our neighbor needs an exorcism I think...like, seriously. So now we are on the hunt to move asap.
We had the busiest most relaxing holiday season. Busy and Relaxing you ask? Yes, you can have both.
-Spent Christmas morning at my folks, Christmas afternoon at his, Christmas night at my aunts. But then we stayed the night at my other aunts house (who my sister was housesitting for) and spent the evening in the hot tub, eating brownie bites, and enjoying the night with my brother and sister. See...busy & relaxing.
-We've been using our days off this past week to organize and finally get shit done around the house. Our basement is now a workspace! I have a drafting table, sewing table, and all of my design supplies while Cleveland has all of his music equipment set up on the other side. Its a cozy little basement, and best of all, my school mess will no longer have to take over the living room!
-I could ramble forever. Short story is that we had a great holiday, I'm catching up on sleep for once (but school starts again monday!), and all is good in Portland.

I finally got back some of my film from Halloween. They are awesome! I still have a lot to learn with the boyriends old Minolta, but I think some turned out ok and I mostly love reliving that weekend.
This weekend was superrr fun as well! It was my birthday on Saturday and our friends from Grave Babies came to town to play a show at Dante's. I had a really fun night taking pictures, sippin on drinks, and hanging out with our friends. My mom also surprised me and came down Friday night so we had a nice dinner at Casa Naranja on Mississippi St.
Today has been a weird day. I'm moody. My 8am class feels like a fucking waste of time and I am still busier than ever. Besides that constant poopyness, the guy on the bus ride home was reading a book titled, The Ins & Outs of Cybersex. Um yeah, I was kinda creeped out. It also took us an hour to get home tonight instead of the regular 15 mins. We took some new route to the store; only to forget our debit cards. Like seriously, how do you do that? Fail.

So have you noticed I only seem to have time to write a post when I have my every other weekend off? ha. Seriously, I am so very busy. Thank my lucky stars for my smart phone so that I can quickly breeze my favorite blogs in between classes and on lunch at work.
This week has been a weird one for me. As we all know( because I'm always complaing about it) I'm busy. Like, I dont-have-time-to-clip-my-nails-and-realize-they-are-like-cokehead-long busy. Don't get me started on how dirty the house is because no one has been around to clean. And the cat! Poor B is so lonely and so clingy these days. So, since I am so busy, I would like to be getting the most out of my education. There is one class that has a few of my classmates and I a little erked about because it just feels like it is not pushing us in the right direction. It is a very serious and tedious class, but it is not engaging us at alllll. Its just hard for me to want to come to class when I feel like it is wasted time that could be spent cleaning, grocery shopping, SLEEPING, or studying. Don't worry, I haven't skipped...I'm a good student :) But, sometimes when its an hour and a half into class and some girl asks, "so do we cut our card stock to 5 by 7?" and the specs are clearly written in our book AND the professor demo'd it, I'm like ready to slap a ho because I went to bed at 2 and woke up at 6 and this shit is not college level.
Anyway, the boyfriend could tell I was blue so he whisked me away to Ukiyoe for sushi and bought me some boots. Just because! Yes, he is really that sweet.
We're going to Seattle for the weekend to a halloween party/show at our friends house. I can't wait to reveal my halloween costume! It's so weird and so great! Hint: It involves a ton of gold.

This week I finally got to see my lovely friend, Katie. I got to go to her swanky apartment and make jewelry/learn a few tricks from her. Her metalwork is amazing! I seriously need to get some supplies and practice. Her Etsy shop is here! Go check it out and get something for yo self or for yo mama. Mother's Day is just around the corner, you know.

Oh and by the way... I still hate my job. I'm trying to find a new one, but throughout this process I am realizing that I would love to work from home doing the things I love. How do people do that? I need help figuring that out. Because if I could seriously make jewelry, dresses, and food all day and make mulah doing it, I would be the happiest girl in the world.

For my dad's birthday we went to a little art studio in Tacoma and made some things with clay! It was really fun, and something to get us out and about. My brother's zombie bunny is my favorite! I made the little hedgehog and chicken. :) We'll have to see how they turn out once they are fired!
